“I wholeheartedly recommend Carina Baverstock Couture. I had anticipated finding my wedding gown being difficult, but it turned out to be one of the most enjoyable and stress-free aspects of the entire wedding planning process. Carina Baverstock Couture was the first shop I visited and I bought the first dress I tried on! (I then tried others, but it always came back to that first one.) Carina and her team know everything you will need to know about your wedding gown. My mum and I were the only customers in the shop for my appointment and Carina took time to get to know me and ask questions about the whole look and feel of the wedding – the type of venue, what type of atmosphere I was trying to create, what the groom would be wearing, as well as what I had in mind for the dress. She was putting together the ‘whole package’ of our wedding day, not just one dress on one bride. Before I even looked at what was hanging on the rails Carina picked out that first wedding gown and there was no looking back. Sam was my fitter and her alteration skills are astounding. The work she did was immaculate and the fittings were an absolute joy. By an amazing stroke of luck I had the opportunity to meet Suzanne Neville, the designer of my gown, and she and I and the rest of Carina’s team designed a bespoke bow for the back of the dress which was exactly what I was looking for. Throughout the whole process I remained totally sure that the right decision had been made about my gown. My top tip is to listen to what Carina and her team have to say about shoes, accessories, veil, etc. before running off and ordering every pair of shoes from the internet! They are curating the whole ensemble and really do know how to complete the look. Thank you to Carina, Sam and the rest of the team for providing such a wonderful experience – it was a delight from start to finish.”
